A DAY IN THE LIFE WITH ANNIE SPANO
Hi, ladies! My name is Annie Spano, and I am the founder of Style Collective, which is a platform for female fashion and lifestyle influencers to connect, grow, and learn how to be successful bloggers and entrepreneurs. I love to work, hang out with my hubby, eat healthy, workout at the gym, travel, and be outside in nature!
I am all about the morning routine and stick to the same schedule every single morning. My morning routine consists of making the bed, getting ready for the gym, writing in my journal, and then taking an hour to get in a good workout.
My hubby and I head to the gym for an hour every single day. These days my workouts are focused on weight training and yoga, which is all part of my hormone balancing recovery plan. My adrenal glands were completely exhausted after stress from the work bully, so working out and taking care of myself has become a huge priority.
My favorite part of the day: breakfast and (decaf) coffee! My hubby is in charge of making the French press, decaf for me, and making MCT creamer (just blend 1T of MCT oil powder with coffee in a Nutri-bullet for instant energy!). I cook the eggs, heat up the steel cut oats, and cut up some fresh fruit. We have a bird feeder on our deck, so the birds are usually eating and chirping while we sit down for breakfast.
Start my day! Team calls, Trello boards, and Slack are where it’s at for me. My morning usually consists of catching up on emails, answering questions on chat, checking DM’s on Instagram, and talking with my team. My days vary: some days it’s head down and doing work, other days it’s back to back calls, podcasting or planning an event for members. No two days are the same, but they are always crazy busy!
I eat the same things every day and 12 pm is usually when I break for a smoothie! Here is my favorite one to make:
8 oz unsweetened almond milk
2 T almond butter
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
½ t coffee grounds
3 ice cubes
In the afternoon, I’ll have a Larabar, fresh fruit, or a handful of nuts if I’m hungry.
This is when I take a break to start dinner and wind down from my day. Sometimes, I go for a walk after dinner, but usually, I hop onto the couch with my laptop and wrap up some more work from the day until I head to bed. I am a bit of a work-a-holic, but I love what I do!
Make my evening tea with my hubby, which is Tazo passion fruit tea with juice from ½ a lime and 1 T apple cider vinegar. I also love having a square of Choc Zero after dinner!
